Demonstrating true New York hospitality last year, Morris opened his hotel in Albany to become utilized as a migrant shelter. His compassionate efforts extended beyond simply providing shelter - he provided a home. Morris offered complimentary clothing, English language learning services, and helped them land on their feet.

Morris has an exceptional talent for uncovering untapped potential, strategically investing in communities that others may overlook. Envisioning a vibrant and re-energized downtown Albany when others couldn't, he boldly transformed a former Holiday Inn Express into a thriving kosher hotel. Recently, he elevated this vision by partnering with Choice Hotels to re-open as a Country Inn & Suites. Believing in a revitalized downtown Albany, Morris is now enthusiastically driving forward efforts to rejuvenate this area into a bustling destination in the State’s capital. Morris attributes his success to his dedicated team throughout New York State, from the Bronx to Albany to Buffalo, understanding that empowering his employees directly translates into uplifting and energizing the communities they serve.
Morris is always willing to work with new partners, embrace bold new ideas, and generously offers guidance and encouragement to those around him. Touro University, his alma mater, recently honored him as the 2024 Alumnus of the Year, where he pledged dedicated funds to support future generations of students. Additionally, Morris was honored on the Dan’s Papers Palm Beach Power List this year for his work uplifting communities and his impact in the home health care and hospitality industries.In his personal life, he has exemplified the power of dedication and commitment to one’s own health through his transformative and inspiring weight loss journey.
